We have raised over £70,000 for Weston Park Cancer Charity through two incredible cycling challenges and other events.
On Wednesday 21st November at 8:30pm, Leo will be joining an audience in Sheffield at the city’s iconic Abbeydale Picture House for a screening of the film documenting the Spectre Expedition.
While we've been taking a break for our cycling challenges this year, we've been supporting others in their own adventures. One such adventure is Spectre - the transantarctic expedition led by British climber and adverturer Leo Holding.
As we prepare for a new challenge in 2018, we took a few minutes to reflect on what we've achieved so far for Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield.
"I could never ever have imagined that a year on our own Mum would have been calling upon the services of this incredible hospital. Suddenly the 2016 cycle challenge was high on our radar."
4Challenge is a way of making a tangible difference and helping families just like The Whites. Catherine White and her two children Jack Thomas and Isabelle Mae, lost husband and father, Neil, to skin cancer in August 2015.
After 4 days covering over 300 miles up and down dale, in scarce sunshine and plentiful wind and rain, the rapturous welcome in Weston Park was a welcome reward.
A well timed reminder of why 4Challenge really matters came on Friday evening after day 1 riding from Edinburgh to Lockerbie.
The simple truth is that without fundraising and support, Weston Park Hospital will not have the funds required to run many of the support and research projects that are currently transforming lives.
How do you communicate in 60 seconds the reason why 4Challenge is so important? Why we are taking a such physically and logistically challenging task, and travelling hundreds of miles on two wheels. Last week Fluid HD arrived at ASK4 HQ in Sheffield to help us do just that. The result?
On Wednesday 21st November, Leo Houlding joined an audience at Sheffield’s Abbeydale Picture House for the UK’s second screening of Spectre.
